A new alliance between vision engineering technology company RoTa Technologies and processing equipment manufacturer NABEL Co., Ltd.
Compact Design Changes The Work At Your Farm.
Sakura Series only needs a space of 2M square to install. It collects and packs eggs gently, while having a capacity of Max.100 cases (36,000 eggs) per hour. Despite its compact size, Sakura is designed to flexibly respond to customers’ needs at egg farms, which makes the egg collecting work more efficient.
Tray Compatibility
You won’t be bothered by the material of trays anymore, as both plastic and paper trays can be used in Sakura100. In addition, adjustable egg rails allow you to use various sized trays.
Open Structure
When machine parts get dirty, you may take it out easily and wash it with water. Cleanness of the machine leads to a continuous and long-life operation without machine issues.
Product Series
Sakura Series offers 3 kinds of capacity machines: 100, 85, 70 cases per hour. You can upgrade your machine after installation if you need to increase the production capacity in the future.
Optional Automation Add-Ons
A Tray Stacker and a Tray Stocker & Feeder are available as options. By connecting those machines to Sakura Series, egg collection work is automatic, which in turn reduces labor costs.
ORACION6000 is the most popular egg grading machine in the middle-range capacity.
It is equipped with the new collection mechanism of three-layer structure. This egg grader succeeded in shortening the machine length and saving the space, by removing multiple lines for eggs of few rate, such as extra-large and extra-small. Timely computer control of the second and the third dropset layer allows eggs to be steadily set onto trays.
Soft Handling & Minimum Space
Egg grader ORACION6000 processes 60,000 eggs per hour. NABEL is always thinking how to handle eggs more gently. In this system, eggs are conveyed with 12 rows in the accumulator, orientator, washer and drier. By this mechanism, the eggs are carried at 50% slower than other brands and the machine length is the shortest in the world. Each egg is carried to the original finger after weighing. Then eggs are packed into the trays through the dropset. At the moment of egg releasing, the finger’s position moves in conjunction with the machine speed; it is automatically adjusted to ensure that the eggs are always released at the center of the dropset. Therefore, the damage to the eggs is minimized as possible.

240,000 eggs/hour Capacity
The required capacity of the egg grader is increasing all over the world. NABEL has developed its egg grader CANOPUS series to meet such demand, and CANOPUS is capable to grade and pack 240,000 eggs/hour. Since the machine is developed by NABEL, which has been seeking the technology for gentle egg handling, it does not only grade and pack such number of eggs. It might sound unbelievable; CANOPUS can handle eggs much more slowly.
From 847mm/s to 635mm/s | Previously NABEL egg grader carrier moved at the speed of 847 mm/s in maximum. CANOPUS adopts the narrow pitch carrier which NABEL developed first in the world, and its carrier moves at the speed of 635 mm/s. Because of this 25% of speed down, it has achieved to reduce the impact to eggs. Placing this narrow pitch carrier parallel, CANOPUS can handle 240,000 eggs per hour while being much gentler to eggs than before.
New Multi Loader
In case of OFFLINE system, the loader feeds eggs to the egg grading machine and have to move more quickly for a high-capacity machine, however, quick movement tend to give damage to eggs. NABEL did not simply go for developing such a loader. “Even if it has to move quickly, it must handle eggs gently.” Due to such an idea, not only the distance between the loader and the egg grader got shorten, the loader was developed to synchronize the feeding head to infeed rollers. The impact to eggs is reduced as much as possible. In addition, this loader includes tray destacking function as a standard equipment.
Accurate Detectors
Compatible with egg grading machines, the detectors indispensable for egg production are also available as options.
Below are a few videos of the unit and the optional cloud storage device that saves the data to be viewed and shared anywhere online.
World's best performance by acoustic technology. Fourier transform method was used in the crack detector for the first time in the world. It detects cracked eggs by analyzing tones and acoustics of sound when the eggs are tapped. Tappers tap each egg 16 times from different directions continuously and detect cracked eggs by analyzing its sound. While the detection rate by image-sensing is about 60%, the detection rate dramatically improved to 95% by this technology, as an invisible crack can be detected by its sound. In spite of its large size and thick eggshell, the crack detector can detect cracks on duck eggs with the same accuracy as on chicken eggs. It removes cracked eggs and assists an essential process of producing century eggs.
The world's best performance by high-speed image analysis. The crystallization of NABEL's excellent computer technology. 6 photos are taken for each egg by 2 or 3 cameras. Detect dirty eggs from the images by analyzing dimensions and colors of dirt.
Automatic Detection of Leaking Eggs. Leak Detector automatically detects and rejects leaking eggs on the infeed conveyors of NABEL egg graders. Leaking eggs used to be removed by eyes and by hands of operators because those eggs contaminate egg graders and other eggs, which leads to biosecurity risks. Mechanical detection based on high-precision camera and image analysis keep detection level stable as it does not depend on the operator's individual skills or experiences.
Transmitted light shows internal condition without breaking in the past, it had been a big issue that the egg candling by human eyes in the process of egg distribution because it had lower reliability and also needed much time and effort. ABD900 series can solve this problem at once. NABEL has developed a top performance product for the purpose of fully automated candling.
Detecting white & brown eggs at once
It can instantly detect brown eggs which are very difficult for human eyes. Even when White and Brown eggs are mixed, it adjusts the detection level automatically for each.
Self-checking function
It informs you with an alarm by self-checking function when the rate of detected abnormal eggs is excessive.
Counting function
It counts the data of detected eggs. It always indicates each number of eggs and rejection rate such as blood, damaged and no yolk eggs on the screen.
Accuracy
All mechanical detections are carried out always at the same level.
It is possible to maintain high accuracy and stable quality than detecting by human eyes.
Detection of abnormal eggs
Adopting spectroscopical analysis technology makes it possible to detect not only blood eggs but also abnormal eggs. It detects blood eggs with higher accuracy by transmitting data of optical wavelengths.
Accelerating automation with the overwhelming power of robot.
The palletizer (PLZ001 / 003) and depalletizer (DPL001) automatically stack and unload trays filled with eggs. The robot automatically transfers the pallets and dividers, making it possible to save manpower and labor in a series of palletizing operations.
Stacking on the pallet
The palletizer stacks four stacks of trays from the conveyor to the pallet. You can stock up to 12 pallets and up to 60 dividers. The automatic discharge type (PLZ003) automatically transports the completed pallet to the take-out position by a conveyor. Regarding the materials used, pallets are more durable and harder to break than trolleys, which reduces replacement costs.
Pallet transportation system
The pallet transport system is a system that transfers eggs using NS-trays, dividers and pallets. A maximum of about 13,000 eggs can be stored in one pallet (when 6 layers are stacked). By introducing the palletizer / depalletizer, not only can transportation be streamlined, but storage space can be saved.
Unloading from the pallet
A depalletizer is a robot that transfers stacked trays loaded on a pallet to a conveyor. Four stacks of trays can be unloaded at one time, and processed dividers and pallets are automatically moved to the stacking position. The trays unloaded from the pallet proceed to the egg washing, grading, and packing process.
